Tsetsee Gun is the peak of Bogd Khaan Mountains, which had become the National Park in the 18th century and recognized as the first in the world. The Mountains are good for trekking and have rich flora and fauna.
Day 1. Bogd Khaan Mountain
Transfer to the Hurhree camp located at Bogd Khaan Mountain. Dinner at the camp. Overnight stay in the ger.
Day 2. Tsetsee Gun Mountain
After breakfast, climb to the Tsetsee Gun Mountain. You can choose from the following trekking routes:
- Hurhree (Zaisan) route:
Ascending duration 5 - 6 hours, road is sharp slope.
- Hureltogoot route:
Ascending duration 4 - 5 hours maximum, descending duration 2 - 3 hours, trekking through the submits of Mountains.
- Bumbat (Shavart) route:
Ascending duration 4 - 5 hours maximum, descending duration 2 - 3 hours, road is slow slope.
Picnic lunch on the way. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar.
