<description><![CDATA[MONGOLIA - The veterinary authorities have reported to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) that they have found what may be highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in wild birds.<br /><br />The Mongolian veterinary authority sent an Immediate Notification dated 28 May to OIE, reporting the suspicious death of a group of swans. <br /><br />Nine migratory swans were found dead at Doitiin tsagaan Lake in Arkhangai province on 22 May. A further bird was destroyed. <br /><br />The presence of an H5 virus has been confirmed.<br/><br/>3 Vote(s) ]]></description>
