An Enfield man is gearing up to drive from Chichester to Mongolia to raise money for the area's homeless children.

Paul Evans, 32, of Bush Hill Park, Enfield, and his co-driver Laura Over, 32, will embark on their 10,000-mile adventure in July.

The pair, dubbed The Two Mongoleers, will drive through 14 countries in a 1-litre VW Polo donated by Jefferies Farm to complete the challenge.

They will join 280 UK teams in the Mongol Rally 2010 to raise money for the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, Cancer Research UK and the Neurofibromatosis Association.
