So when a friend of his got picked to participate in a no-holds-barred race from England to Mongolia this summer, the 20-year-old Clarks Summit resident did not hesitate to sign up.

The Mongol Rally, sponsored by London-based company the Adventurists, kicks off Saturday in London.
