ULAN BATOR, May 26 (Xinhua) -- Mongolian airline MIAT had grounded its Boeing 737-800s due to security reasons, affecting flights from Ulan Bator to Seoul and Beijing, local media reported Wednesday.
The security check on Tuesday disrupted the journeys of more than 1,100 passengers.
Prime Minister Sukhbaataryn Batbold has raised the issue in parliament, and ordered the State Property Committee to punish those responsible and change MIAT's board of directors.
