An inquest will finally be held next week into the shooting 13 years ago of an agricultural consultant from Bath in Mongolia.

A police investigation into the death of Tim Jarman in the Asian country was closed in 1999 but the Avon coroner’s office says it is only now that it has the right paperwork for a hearing to take place.

The inquest into the 50-year-old father’s death will be held next Friday at Flax Bourton.

Mr Jarman, who lived in the centre of Bath with his wife Sally and two children, was shot dead in a Mongolian hotel room.
