Temperatures will hit 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days in the Gobi desert in southern Mongolia. Maximum wind speed might reach 18-20 m/sec in western and central part of the country.

The above-normal temperatures are bringing about strong winds, thunderstorms and lightning in central and northern Mongolia.
